Community
Darkkle is a volunteer project with irregular owner availability. A useful report or pull request may wait for review. This is not a rejection and should not be disguised with promises the project cannot keep.
Where each contribution belongs
- Bug report: a reproducible defect with expected and actual behaviour.
- Compatibility report: a breakage associated with a browser or spreadsheet-interface change.
- Feature request: a defined enhancement with observable acceptance criteria.
- Ideas Discussion: an early wish-list item or design exploration.
- Q&A Discussion: installation and usage support.
- Private vulnerability report: security or privacy defects that should not be disclosed publicly.

Good community work
High-value participation includes reproducing a defect on a blank spreadsheet, narrowing a regression, testing a release candidate on a different browser, improving a confusing instruction, reviewing a small pull request, and honestly documenting what remains untested.
Kindness does not require weak technical standards. Critique the idea or implementation precisely, explain evidence, acknowledge uncertainty, and avoid personal attacks.
Becoming a maintainer
Maintainer access is based on a record of constructive participation, careful privacy judgment, reliable testing, and respectful conduct. Access begins at the least-privilege level needed. Volunteering alone does not create an entitlement to write or administrative access.
